Vertel, Tellium to Discuss Use of Object Oriented Technologies in Embedded Systems At Rational User Conference

Woodland Hills, Calif., August 23, 2000 – Vertel® (NASDAQ: VRTL), a leading developer of mediation software for telecommunications networks, and Tellium, Inc., the world's first provider of in-service intelligent optical switches, will share insights into the implementation of object oriented methodologies and tools, such as Vertel's e*ORB software, in the development of embedded systems. The presentation is part of the 2000 Rational Software User Conference scheduled for next week.
The session, entitled "Lessons Learned Using Object Oriented Technologies in Embedded Systems Development," will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29 during the Rational conference.
