The third annual Global TMN Summit 99 and Vendor Showcase theme is “Intelligent Management – The Next Frontier." The focus is on the application of principles used in the deployment of intelligent networks to the management domain. The conference provides a unique opportunity to assess trends, understand business challenges, and evaluate TMN solutions for intelligent management that are being offered by leading edge companies from around the world. Users of TMN solutions will share their experiences and offer suggestions on how to maximize the benefits and minimize the costs of deploying open, highly interoperable operations support systems (OSS's). Service providers and network operators will discuss the impact of intelligent management on the deployment of new products and services. Telecom equipment manufacturers, ISV’s and systems integrators will share their unique perspective on the challenges facing the industry today. A major topic of discussion at the Summit for all participants will be the rollout of public IP networks and their impact on business, the network and the OSS infrastructure. The multi-track format allows delegates to focus on areas of specific interest and relevance.
This year’s Global TMN Summit will analyze these challenges from many different perspectives. Featured keynote speakers are industry experts from Lucent Technologies, Pathnet, 3COM, HP, Microsoft, China Telecom, Architel and Atlantech. The Yankee Group will offer an industry analyst view, Gerard Klauer Mattison a financial analyst view, and tele.com an industry publication editor’s view of the trends, the issues faced and the solutions sought by today’s industry players.
