M*Ware Development Environment

Vertel M*Ware TM offers a suite of multi protocol development components, grouped into the M*Ware Development environment. 

Vertel development tools have a very convincing track record since these product components are implemented and used worldwide by companies such as Lucent, Alcatel, AT&T, Nortel, Cisco, and many others. 

The M*Ware Development Environment consist of 

  • A Compiler Suite for processing GDMO/ASN1/Rule specifications and plug ins for Argo UML and Rational ROSE UML
  • Protocol Stacks (have to be purchased separately) 
    • TMN protocol stacks
    • TMN convergence stacks (G7712) 
  • Protocol Simulators (have to be purchased separately).

All these components assist the M*Ware application developer during the development and testing of M*Ware based solutions. The M*Ware Compiler suite 

The compiler suit consists of the necessary compilers for importing GDMO, ASN.1 definitions, SNMP MIB definitions, Argo / Rational ROSE UML representations, information model rules specifications and generating the appropriate application specific information model, which can be statically linked or dynamically loaded.

With the M*Ware development compiler suite, Vertel enables 

  • Object-oriented application design and development
  • Information modeling/design in UML; 
  • Information modeling in IDL, GDMO, SNMP
  • Integration with Rational ROSE CASE tools
  • The ability to model classes, class attributes, class actions, class notifications
  • The ability to model hierarchy of classes, containment relationship among classes
