M*Ware™ Convergent Manager
M*Ware Convergent Manager’s fully distributed architecture is very scalable, flexible and
powerful.
In diverse network facing application servers, the M*Ware interfaces are used to interface to any type of network or application, and translate the different protocol messages into a uniform internal CORBA based
format.
The information from all interfaces is automatically mapped into a common information model, in line with the DMTF CIM.
The required plugged-in M*Ware services within the systems services application servers add all the desired information management functions.
The full functionality is made accessible via a flexible
client-interface.
As shown in Figure 1, Convergent Manager is a fully distributed architecture based on the M*Ware-UBT (Ubiquitous Bus Technology) allowing application designers to design the final architecture in a number of ways. The various M*Ware services applications in the Convergent Manager have the flexibility to manage their own separate database or share the databases.
